About the club
DANMAC was formed in 1981 (the early days of Microlighting) to serve a small group of enthusiasts. The sport of Microlighting has moved on in leaps and bounds since those early days and DANMAC has expanded and changed to meet the new demands of it's members. DANMAC has two long established flying/training sites and a number of 'satellite' sites affiliated to it, a monthly meeting venue, approximately fifty pilots, pilot training, aircraft inspection and repair facilities, a suite of specialist tools, a library of flying videos and repair information and manuals.
How to Join DANMAC
The club holds informal meetings on the second wednesday of every month at the 'Green Dragon' public house in Oxton, Nottinghamshire at about 8:30pm. If you would like to find out more about microlighting, why not pop along and meet some of the members or the resident instructor, Andy Buchan (see Link to Light Flight). Newcomers are always made very welcome.
